I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
