A resurgent the Russian player won his maiden championship for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has experienced a challenging period, managing just one match at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
His inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his service game in specific - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately separating with long-time coach Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, he has gradually improved in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from March of 2023.
Success also indicates he has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I have attended a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to secure a trophy is really nice," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I won when my child Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his last six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament in the past months.
The player's retrieving play style and regular reactions on court had led commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the top level was concluded.
But the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, striving to approach the net and compete aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serving game.
Medvedev fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, securing four of the final five games to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped break points in the following set before the Frenchman, bidding for his first professional championship, seized the initiative to create a decider.
The opponent defended 4 initial chances in a close third set before the champion secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Appropriately, the winner clinched victory with a point at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to manage a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
